        Hiii,

I’m flying back to California and did a bunch of research to make sure I can bring my bunnies back with me to California. All the websites tell me that domesticated rabbits are allowed as long as I have an approved health certificate for both of them.
Now, the question is, has anybody brought their bunnies to California? How’d that go? Is it some crazy process at the airport? or will they let you through relatively quickly? I just want to know what to expect

        Thanks!

I’ve never brought my rabbit to cali, since I got her while I was already here. But I did bring my birds. I had them in a carrier that fit under the seat in front of me. At security they just took a look into the carrier with a light to make sure it wasn’t anything shady. I asked them not to open it since my birds could fly away. It took maybe 5 extra minutes so it was quick and easy.
