So today I tried to feed my rabbit some gerber organic pears and and spinach baby food from a squeezeable pouch. Put some in a spoon and his just rubbed his chin all over it. I’m doing this because he has been having small poops and actin somewhat sick. Is this normal for a bun to turn down? I’m just confused because he loves pears and has never tried spinach but I thought he’d love it. Maybe I didn’t choose a good brand or something? Feel free to give any advice. Thanks

If you give jim his favorite treat, and he does not eat it, I consider this an emergency. Take him to the vet just in case, may I ask, how is he acting sickly?

I mixed some into his pellets not sure how much I should put? He’s been acting less playful and less active as he was. He was peeing on my bed last week, not sure if that’s weird when he normally goes in his box to pee. His chin has also been soaked in water and another post I have got a reply saying since his front teeth were all removed and molars left they were probably hurting and to try baby food or critical care since at the moment I cannot afford the costly vet bill. I’m very worried and upset not knowing what’s up. It’s very hard to deal with ice called multiple vets telling them exactly what I say here and not getting ANY advice. I just don’t want to let my bunny stay in this state. He also will not eat hay anymore when he was just a baby he ate so much hay and ever since his front teeth got removed due to over growth he won’t eat any hay. I’ve read about gi stasis but I just don’t know.

Do his back teeth seem ok? This sounds like a molar issue which can turn very bad (possibly deadly) if not acted on. The drooling coupled with not eating doesnt sound like it will be a problem that will be able to be fixed without vet care
