I’m in the process of bonding my two rabbits. Male and female both neutered. They have been having bonding sessions for 3 weeks and seem to be doing well. They occasionally groom and sleep near each other. They eat together and relax/groom them selves in each others company. I have noticed that my female will nip the side of my male causing him to jump and turn around. Once he has turned around he begins to groom the female. I wanted to know if this is her being aggressive or her way of demanding attention. I’ve looked for injury but have not seen or felt any.

Its her way of demanding his attention. As long as its just a fur nip and not a fur pull or a skin breaking bite, its nothing to worry about for now. If you would like to try, you can rub some sugarless apple juice into your females fur on the top of her head, or put bits of banana onto her head to encourage your male to groom her without her having to nip at him
