Hello everybody if this does post then my name is (not allowed to tell you) I have 4 rabbits they have all been rescues! one of my rabbits is named Blue Jeans I have had her for 3 years we got her from a rabbit rescue near us and her story is quite sad. The owner of the rescue told us that blue jeans(female) was 1 and a half years old when a petting zoo dumped her at the rescue after she got “to big for the children to hold” even though she was only 5 pounds. she was most likely abused by the kids that handled her because now she violently shakes if a stranger holds her and her teeth were quite overgrown from the “zoo” the rescue got her spayed and her teeth trimmed but she was still terrified of humans. I’m not saying all petting zoos are bad, just the one who dumped her. she is now happily living with me and has started to trust human more. The next 2 come from an even sadder place where they were kept on wire without a place to rest their feet and they were crammed together. we got them at 9 weeks old and have had them for a year and a half. In result of their feet on the constant wire they were covered in sores they are BIG giant Flemish rabbits now. one is a orange boy named Scooby(he’s neutered) he is very chill and relaxed. and the other one is a grey girl named Luna she is extremely sassy and has quiet the attitude the 4th and final rabbit comes from a good home where he had lots of hay and toys. but sadly the owner left to Arizona the rabbits name is Donald Thump and he is grey and we assume when full grown will be a giant Flemish mix right now he is about 4 months but he still eats alfalfa hay where  are other rabbits eat timothy hay. I cannot house them inside all the time as much as I want to. they stay outside with a hutch, the hutch is ONLY a home base where they CAN use the litter box eat their hay and drink from their bowls. other than that they have full range of the backyard and can come into the house if they want. they eat almost two hearts a day of romaine lettuce!!!!! and SOOOOOOOOO much hay! all four of them only get 1 cup of pellets a day (1/4 a cup each) I take them in every day to groom them and have serious cuddle time. if it is cold outside they come inside if it gets to hot outside they come inside. They have MANY toys including soccer balls and yoga balls they like to push around the yard! I make them most toys and occasionally will get a willow ball from my local pet store the only problem with buying willow balls is that they cost $4 each and they destroy it an one hour!  bye!

Hi and very welcome to the BB forums! Your buns seem to have the perfect bunny-life with you. Blue Jeans, Luna, Scooby and Donald Thump! Donald Thump is just the best name for a bunny, regardless of political sympathies
