My little boy Penny is OBSESSED with towels. If he can, he would drag, bite, dig, and circle his towel all day. I’ve tried supplying him with other toys such as straw baskets, straw balls, wooden sticks and wooden blocks, but he’d always go back to the towel. Are there any toy options I can provide for my bunners that will keep him just as stimulated as his towel?

The towel is actually the only item that I can actively play with him with. I would raise the towel high enough just so he can grab a corner of the towel and start dragging it around the room. Sometimes I’d wrap it around him so the towel is on his back (sort of like a cape) and he’d do a loud thump and run in excitement. He seriously never gets tired of this. Other times I would make him chase the towel, which I don’t know if he likes because he usually ends up grunting (could be aggression since he isn’t neutered yet either), but that doesn’t stop him from chasing the towel just to grab the corner and drag it around

So to all my towel-loving rabbit owners, what kind of toys keep your buns active?!

You could try fleece. Fleece doesn’t have the threads like a towel, but has a good weight to it for throwing around.
