Hi, I had to recently move my rabbits indoors for a a day because one is sick and I needed to keep a better eye on him, it was a struggle to catch him and pick him up so I could move him. He was frightened and he is a very shy rabbit, now he seems to dislike me, so I am asking, can rabbits lose trust?

It is possible, but you can win it back.

I have had several rabbit, who I have had to struggle with. My one needs to be nebulized twice a day. I am sure he dislikes me afterwards, I try to associate with his meal and lettuce so he quickly forgets about. It is better that you do what is best for him, he will forgive you.

Rabbits can of course lose trust, but it can be won back again. Being that he was already a shy rabbit, chasing him around to catch him would have scared him quite a bit. Get him to trust you again by hand feeding him, allowing him to come close without reacting to his presence, no reaching out to touch or pet him etc.
