I feel terrible as h. i dont know what to do. Recently, last month, i lost a bunny.. I noticed my bunny(oreo) that is left is sad, don’t eat that much hay and doesn’t drink water as he used to. So, Today, I brought home a bunny. Btw. Oreo is neutered. The new bunny, I’m gonna get him neutered next week. What should I do? I tried to introduce the baby bunny to oreo but he seemed aggressive about it. First, he smells it, like a lot.. But like maybe 3 minutes after, oreo tries to attack him. I just wanted him to be happy again. But it seems like I did the opposite. He’s aggressive to my adopted kitten too. The only one who he’s not aggressive to is me. I feel bad for my new bunny.. The main reason I brought him home is for Oreo. I didn’t do speed dating for we don’t have that kind of system here. And yes, i bought my bunny… We just don’t have an adoption center for bunnies here. Right now, my new bunny is in a small cage.. And Oreo is in his condo. I try to let them out one by one. Like, i put oreo in his condo.. And let the new bunny roam around. Then 30 minutes later, i put the baby bunny in his small cage and let oreo out.. Help me?? I just dont know what to do anymore. I feel guilty and bad. You can judge me if you want for being a bad parent to Oreo.

Btw. Should I put my kitten up for adoption? I just adopted him from the road because it was raining that day..

You will need to keep your bunnies separate until your new bunny has been neutered and a month has passed after surgery. You can keep letting them take turns for out of cage time, until the time is right to start bonding.

Do you know anyone who could give a good home to the kitten? If you want to keep him and think that you can successfully integrate him into your home with the bunnies, then you should keep him. But if you think it might be too stressful to him or to the bunnies for him to be there, then maybe you should try to find another home for him. Is it possible that he belongs to one of your neighbors, since you found him outside? He is likely a stray, but there is always the possibility that he is someone’s pet.

Omg. Oreo looks like your bunny. It’s so funny.

I tried finding one but no one seems to be fit with how I wanted him to be taken care of. I actually think that my kitten would get along with them. Sometimes when the kitten is not in the mood, he would just ignore the bunny.. But whenever the kitten is playful. I put oreo back in his condo right away.

Thank you for your help.. I’m planning to build a condo again. But it would be separate houses for them.. 1st and 2nd floor would be for the kitten, 3rd and 4th for oreo, then 5th and 6th floor would be for the tiny bunny. Do you think it’s a good idea???

Put your kitten for adoption and the next day you will feel worse – asking yourself what kind of person deals with problems like that. Introducing bunnies requires certain steps, you should never put them together at once. Info on the topic:

Everything is going to be fine! Start thinking positive, look for information, educate yourself and be patient with the animals.

When I first got a companion for my rabbit, I felt awful, because he hated her so much, and was so distraught at having to vie for attention. But once we got through bonding I realized that I had done the right thing(even though at the time I’d felt awful) My point is, even though it seems bad now, doesnt mean it wont be good in time. Patience is important!
Bonding will take time, and oreo needs to come to terms with sharing his stuff with the new squirt in the house!

I hate to say it, but from some of your other posts you’ve put up, I think you might not have the amount of room a kitten actually needs, and putting it in a condo will not result in a happy cat. Giving an animal up for adoption is an awful choice to have to make, but hopefully you are able to find a home for this kitten, that can provide appropriately!

Thank you guys for helping. I’ve been reading a lot of research now on my free time. I will read those too. Thank you for the links. I’m just pretty busy with earning my own money too. I’m slowly giving their necessities now. Hopefully they would all get along in the end. But what I have noticed is Oreo is just smelling the new bunny now, not angry at all. I guess I just have to take it slowly. Sorry for that. I was just freaking out because I don’t like Oreo being alone and sad. Anyway, they’re doing okay now.

What I am doing right now is, i let them go out one by one. But the kitten is mostly the one who roams around all the time because my bunnies likes to always be in their condo.. What I do is when I get home, I give them time to run around until they get tired. Then close their door, and let the other one out.. But hopefully, I could think of a new and best idea for the kitty. I would bond the bunnies first and then proceed with bonding with the kitten completely. But I sometimes let them see each other.

I’m sorry. I just had to no one to ask and i was freaking outl
