I think Sage is becoming more comfortable!!!

Hey guys…so this may not be a big deal but I wanted to share….it was a big night for me!!!

So a little while ago I shared that Sage had started pooing and she even peed once whenever I got on the bed with her….she only did it when I sat or lay on the bed with her…otherwise all was well.

So I protected the bed and continued to try to build some trust and rework her potty “skills” 

Tonight I went in like usual…gave her her salad, after she was done she settled in next to me on the floor and nudged my hand like usual for her pets….then she started doing laps around the room and digging in her box so I got up and lay on the bed to watch her.  After a bit she came zooming up onto the bed….normally this is when she sniffs around…drops a few territorial poos around me and then goes back to the floor….but instead she sniffed…no poos at all and then did this….

in case you can’t tell….that is my leg on the right hand side…we are laying on the bed in her room 

Like I said this may not be anything…maybe a fluke…but I smiled so big and felt soooo special

Hey, I know this feeling……You’re completely owned now, and she’s going to think she owns the bed in short order.  Clover slept with me for a little while, but I had to restrict her to the run area because she’s a total bed hog!   She only tinkled once, and only leaves her bunny poops when she REALLY sacks out.  But between her demanding pets at 3 am and her taking up the whole bed, I wasn’t getting any sleep.

So instead, (This is all before recent events, of course), I’d let her hang out in bed with me before calling it a night, with me reading a book and her upside down sleeping by my hip.  When I was ready for bed, I’d lead her back into the living area, give her a bed time treat, and make sure she has fresh hay and her toys.

She still woke me up at 3 am, but that’s because she was playing with her Sisal ball.

Thanks everybody!  I was so very pleased to find out that my girl has taken to me!  It’s been almost 2 months since we got her and her and I are slowly bonding.  I Love it!!!
