Just thought I would post this because I have been struggling for ages how to keep Finns cage clean without all those tiny bits of hay that are too small to pick up. I got a really cool lint roller the other day from woolworths, its made from a sticky plastic so I use that to get the hay off his blanket and then I can clean the hay off the plastic with water and use it again the next day

So saves me having to shake his blanket out every single day XD

Anyone else have good ideas for keeping the hay from being too messy?

          Cool!

I just use my little brush and dustpan or my handheld vac. The lint roller sounds quicker and quieter.

Lint rollers are great. I use dustpans, and I also run my fingers along the perimeter of the pen (tarp) to pick up dust bunnehs (quicker and more efficient than a dustpan). For felt blankets, I find lint rollers to be more effective at grasping hair than a handheld vac. Those hairs are stubborn.
