Ok so honestly I didn’t know having a rabbit was this much work. I saw a guy on facebook desperately trying to get rid of Bella because of an allergy. She is young, he provided everything, including extra food. Since I got her and she has been adjusting, she is a little diva. Picks and chooses what she wants to eat and when and where. I have willow, and timothy hay stuff everywhere, and anywhere. Toilet paper rolls etc. I purchased store bought toys as well. I feel like I am always at the store for her.

I am just wondering what diy tricks you guys have?

        Pictures would be good too.

Using pictures off of google because my camera isnt working. All of the things im going to list, you will need toilet paper roles or a box/boxes

The diggy box! All you need is a box and shredded paper. When we made this up for our buns, we used their cardboard based litter which probly confused them, but its all we had at the time. They didnt care for it too much, but ive seen a ton of bunnies who really enjoy their diggy boxes. My nethie also likes totes full of snow in winter

This one is really easy. I call it a treat ball, but im not sure what its actually called. You take a few toilet paper roles and cut them about half an inch apart into little rings. Then you one through another, and another, and another, and another…. Before you completely close it, pop in a treat or some of your buns favorite pellets. Then, of course, close it up with another few rings and toss it to the bun! My Blue really loves these little treat balls. He throws them, botes them, digs at them, flings them, and finally tears them apart and munches on the treat. They never last long, but theyre fun for the buns and easy to make

The spiral toy. This is what it looks like without hay, because i couldnt find a picture on google that had hay in it. But, yea. Cut the toilet paper role into a spiral and add as much hay that will fit. Itll be a messy toy, but again, its easy to make and its cheap. My buns enjoy these because they have to dig and fling to get the hay out

Last but not least, the hidey box! You can have multiple boxes put together with holes in 2 to 3 of the sides, or you can get a big box and cut several bunny sized holes all over. My buns like these kinds of play areas because it gives them something new to explore, chew on, and run through

Nature provides: Pine cones and branches!

Here is a list of safe branches to feed/give to chew for your bunny:

Pine cones for toss, play, and chew. They need to be prepped though, here’s how:

I’ve also seen pictures of paper tunnels made for bunnies, instructions here:
