Georgie has been with us since the end of June and half way through a molt the whole time.

It has been rather even along her body and changed only slightly.

None of it is loose fur! I don’t find fur any where, occasionally when we have to burrito her there will be a tiny floating tuft but otherwise nadda.

        Is this normal?

Is there anything I can do other then the soft bristle brushing I’m already doing almost everyday?

GeorgieTheBunny, if you figure it out, please let me know! I had the same issue with my black satin lop cross, and his fur is shiny, so it looked like he was wearing a furry hula skirt. My two are moulting chronically right now, so their coats are thankfully evening up some, after a little wait. Hopefully this helps reassure you.

Pretty sure its normal. This seems to be a normal cold weather to warm weather shed for our netherland. He sheds his top fur off very, very quick, but his lower half/tummy took a full two months to full shed away. For those few months he looked like he was wearing a little bedskirt It took a daily brushing to help ease it out

I feel reassured. I just thought it was strange…. Glad to know it’s common enough.

The furry hula skirt and wearing a little bed skirt comments made me smile

I’ve been calling Georgie ‘Fluffy Bum’ for awhile.

I’ll keep brushing her; thanks guys
