        Hi All

We got our rabbit vaccinated two days ago and he has developed a lump in his right front leg yessterday. Its fleshy and not hard.

He is eating fine and pooping . He also hops holding his paw up but seems a lot quieter than normal,.

Has anyone experienced this with their rabbit after the vaccination .

         Thanks in advance

         Mon

I have heard of this happening with the Cylap vaccine. We had a member here also, that had it happen again when her rabbit had a booster shot – but it did come good again. Cylap unfortunately does has some side effects. Sometimes it will cause a sore to form also. I’ve had that happen to mine before.  Now, when they have their calici vaccs, I always massage the site for a good while in the hopes to disperse the vaccine more evenly.

Just keep an eye on the skin where the lump is and report to your vet if things don’t improve.
