I was reading some threads about getting bunnies and that made me remember, the day I first had Ben as my own. I remember it was in October. I had just gotten out of school. My mom said she had a suprised for us in the car. I guessed, maybe a toy or some treats. But turns out. It was a rabbit! Me and my 3 brothers were so exited!
Funny story: when we got Ben, we thought the hay was litter, so we were so suprised when we saw him eating the hay
Sorry for such a random post but I just wanted to post this

As of now, we got Ben an Xpen and he loves it, he’s done some binkys and he is happy

That’s great, when I was little I had rabbits and never knew how important hay was, then when I got my boy after years of not having a pet, I came on here asking why my bunny was eating hay like there was no tomorrow, lol.

Haha! I remember the day when I’d just found Bam and I’d no idea what to feed a bunny, so I asked on a dog forum because I knew there were people there who’d had rabbits. They said hard bread and carrot.

The next day I went to a pet store and got him hay and horror of all horrors, bunny müesli =(

Bam, I’m trying to decide if the bunny muesli is better or worse than the bread

Müesli is worse because it’s sold as bunny food in pet stores =(

There is a British pet store chain (Pets At Home) that has stopped selling bunny müesli and our newly founded Swedish Rabbit Wellfare Society is working on achieving the same thing here.

Poor Bam really, really loved his müesli. The müesli didn’t love him.
