I just brought home my new flemish he is cutttee! i have not put him in Winnies room yet. I keep letting winnie smell me, to get used to his smell. She is running around my feet, everywhere i walk!

Is this normal? for my bun? when smelling a new rabbit, i still have new rabbit in carrier. when do you think its right to put him in his cage in her room? he will be caged and she is free roam

          Has Winnie calmed down?

Running around in circles is usually courtship behavior. She’s probably confused by the new bunny smell.

Winnie has not calmed down. This will be the second night the baby is in the room with her. If Winnie smells the baby on me she runs in circles around me. If the smell is super strong, like if i pet him for a while..she will run around me and then lunge at my hand. She lays around by his cage sometimes. and as soon i go near the cage it seems like she starts going crazy again.
