Hope this is the right place to put it, but does anyone else have a “bunny cam” ? I got an IP camera in the mail today so I can watch the bunnies whenever I’m gone. I feel like I’ve reached crazy bunny person to the extreme.

Here’s the first of many photos from the bun cam. (Note: I cleaned and straightened up yesterday and straightened up after this photo, I just was really excited to use the camera and get it set up lol.)

OH MY GOSH. you aren’t alone! I don’t have one yet but definitely want one! when I leave I always tell them to thump really loud if they need mommy and i’ll hear it (I’m a crazy bun mommy) but I keep saying I need to be able to check in while I’m at work. what kind of camera did you get?

off topic- that water bowl, how does it work? both buns love to throw food into their water bowl and daisy likes to sit in hers (they both are using bottles now). does it make a mess?

I got it off amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01FM905XK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
As for the bowl, they don’t really make a mess with it. Sometimes they’ll throw a toy into it, but I think it’s accidental when it happens. I do have one that sheds like crazy and I have to skim it a couple times a day to get the fur out, but that happened with any bowl I have and I don’t like using bottles lol. I switched to that because I had two bowls that clipped on the side and had to fill them more than once a day and didn’t want them to run out of water while everyone was at work and couldn’t fill it for them.

Yup, I have a bunny cam, bought mine when Gareth was poorly so I could keep an eye on him whilst at work.

Then it came in really handy during the bonding process of Red & Cinders, now I like to be nosey and check in whilst at work.

              This is them now:

I can’t wait to get a bunny cam! and daisy likes to dig in her food bowl throwing everything out onto the floor and then look at me like “mom there’s nothing in here!!” she would probably just think that water bowl was a new swimming pool then wonder where her water bottle went! I can’t definitely need to get a cam before I put daisy in with Mr. Bun so I can keep an eye on them while I’m at work!

Does your bun ever jump out of his pen? we had to put a fish pond net over MrBun’s pen because the first night he figured out he could jump over the top and then wouldn’t stop!

I have been wanting to set a cam up for months! As soon as my dense brain will understand how to, I’ll do it

Nope! Before Clarke was neutered, he vaulted over the side of the divider I had to the girl’s pen (They were already spayed.), but he usually used boxes to do that and it was shorter than their xpen is now. Once he was neutered and bonded with the girls, I’ve never had any escapees since.

Also, Muchelle, with the IP cam I have, it’s actually pretty easy to set up. I plugged it in, signed up on the app it told me to download in the instruction booklet, and it walked me through each step. You can connect it to your wifi, or straight to the router with a LAN wire. It’s quite easy, and I’m sure other cameras would be easy too.

Oh! Thank you for the explanation! I will try after holidays!
