So just today I picked up out foster bun Thor. He was siezed out of a hoarders home and he’s going to be staying while he recovers from being underweight. HOWEVER David my permanent baby hasn’t seemed so happy with the new roommate. He goes back and fourth in his cage kind of following where Thor is outside of it and he’ll run up to the cage when he comes over to sniff. So little old me THOUGHT he was unhappy since he would paw at the cage and dig at the bars… Now I’m not so sure since he was doing tons of binkies right after Thor walked away… So my question is do bunnies binkie when they’re angry or is it a good sign that he’s getting more comfortable around Thor?

I’ve never seen an angry binky. He’s probably just really excited about the new bunny. My bunny Bindi did this for a couple of days when Sterling was moved in right next to him.

Yes, bunnies can angry binky. If they feel they are being fallowed or attacked they might “binky”. My vet said its more of a mid air boxing as the kicks are more powerful than a normal binky and are in stressful or angry situations rather than happy situations

It sounds like David is excited or maybe a little agitated at the presence of Thor outside of his cage. Make sure that they can’t bite each other’s noses or ears or any body parts through the bars. You may have to put up an x-pen or some type of barrier between the cages and the bunnies that are running around outside the cages, to prevent injuries.
