Hello everyone,
While looking for some presents for my bunny’s 4 month bday
, I found one that , from reading the comments, sounds like possibly lots of fun (there’s always the chance he wont even touch it but hey, gotta try).But amongst all the positive comments there are some people who raise questions about the glue that is on this toy (some people say its quite a lot).I’m not sure what kind of glue is used, the descriptions says all materials are safe for animals…
Did any of you had this toy before? Is it completely safe? Picture attached

In general, if the toy is made for bunnies it is USUALLY made with safe materials, but it is wise of you to check.
I don’t have this specific toy, but some similar to it, and I know people who have this one. I have never heard of any problems with it or the glue. Being completely covered in sisal, I don’t think it’s likely a bunny will chew far enough through to injest any significant amount of glue.
If you are still concerned, it’s perfectly fine to make this toy one he is only allowed under supervision. Another thing you might consider is contacting the company about your concerns.
