My rabbit has been sort of chewing with nothing in his mouth, it sounds exactly like chewing, is he in pain? I don’t have any of those pain killers or critical carol anything. Should I take him to the vet?

Depends when is he tooth grinding. Sometimes bunnies grind their teeth to show pain, other times theyll do it to show comfort

Well he is sort of teeth grinding like he is chewing, his eyes are half closed, is that a sign of pain?

Depends on the context. Is he eating, drinking, playing, ect like normal? My Badger will loaf and tooth purr often. He does it a lot in his sleep as well. Hes not in pain when he does it; hes just very calm

Eyes half closed *can* be a sign of pain. However, I have a rabbit that snoozes like that and does a light tooth chattering noise at the same time. If he refuses it, that might indicate that he’s not feeling 100% well. How is he sitting? Anything unusal?

He is sitting fine, sometimes he goes meatloaf, and sometimes he lays down with his arms out and legs tucked in. He isn’t really hunched over, he is moving around a lot.

He is eating, drinking, and pooping very normally, maybe it’s not pain. Maybe he needs to relax.

They can grind their teeth when they are relaxed, even if they’re not getting pet. Esp young buns do that.

Oh okay, because he is using proper rabbit posture , not hunched over. His ears ar never goes flat against his head, and he loves to run around. He is eating a lot and pooping normally. I’m sure he is fine. I’m not usually a paranoid person, but I’m trying to see if my rabbit is healthy, and I am sue he is, thank you all, ?
