I adore my bun, but how can I tell if she loves me back?

How they act around you is a good teller on how much they care about you

Like, my Bluey takes care of me. Hes my ESA and loves to make me happy. He will do stupid things like pretend to run into the bedroom, then zoom out when hes “caught”, and binky all over the room. He also really loves to groom me

My Bombur will sprawl near you to show he likes you. He is very timid around people and his first instinct is always to run, hide, and watch. So if he actually feels comfortable enough around you to sprawl near you, its his way of showing comfort

My Badger will circle our feet. He will nose poke repeatedly. He will also sit in your lap and sleep. He tries to care for us too, like Blue, when he knows we are sad. Thats how we know he loves us

All three of them also fallow us around which is a sign that they love you, or are atleast very comfortable with whoever they are fallowing

It differs between buns, but I’ve noticed some common actions that bunnies do to show affection. Unfixed makes tend to circle around you or your feet a lot, but it can also happen with females and fixed males. They can also follow you around the room, or hop onto your bed/couch when you’re there. Also, they can lay down or “loaf” next to you, which shows that they feel comfortable close to you. Grooming near you can also show that they’re feeling safe when they’re around you.
My Joey seems to show the most affection when he grooms me. I would be sitting on the couch and he will hop on and start to lick while I pet him. He may occasionally nip as well, but I’m just assuming that he’s “exploring”. Rabbits can also purr, which sounds almost the same as a cat purr. It’s very quiet, and is made by grinding their teeth together. However, this shouldn’t be mistaken with the louder teeth grinding, which can be a sign of pain.
Try petting or feeding your bun to see what they do when they feel happy, it varies among buns. You can also try putting on some soft music, I’ve heard that some buns binky like crazy when they’re listening to some tunes.
