my rabbit Ben is 3 he is a dwarf rabbit, this morning I found smaller poops in his litter, he is currently moulting. Should I be worried?

Update: he is sort of softly grinding his teeth, he can’t seem to get very comfortable, he hasn’t pooped in at least 3 hours

Update: I held his waterbottle to his face and he drake quite a bit,but no hay, I feel like his ear hurts too, he is grinding his teeth louder, and he is scratching his ear.

Update: he is drinking more water, he is sort of being lazy, he will eat his favorite treat, a small price of romaine lettuce, he is not touching his hay, he was eating lots this morning though.

Update: I found a cecotrop and a few normal poops in his cage

Update: he is still grinding his teeth, when I walked into my room his belly was flat against the ground, he looked relaxed. I found a very tiny poop in his cage but just one.

He is lifting his right paw up sometimes, he puts pressure on it, just lifting it up once and a while, is it something to worry about?

Update: He is pooping regular sized poops a lot, I don’t know why he didn’t poop for about 3-4 hours, but he’s pooping a lot now.

How is he doing now? Is he eating and drinking otherwise normal? Has he played at all?

They can get tummy trouble when they molt. Is he eating and drinking? Is he unwilling to move around? Does he try to press his tummy to the floor like he’s doing a push-up?
You can try to massage his tummy very very gently. Try to make him move around. If you suspect gas you can give baby gas drops (simethicone). Brush off as much hair as you can.

He is sitting blankly with his eyes half closed, I gave him some pellets and he ate some of them, I changed his cage at 11 but I can’t see any poops since then.

I don’t think it’s a blockage. Has he been displaying any other symptoms?

Okay, good. It’s probably just a tummy ache. Molting can cause that. You want to make sure he’s eating plenty of hay and drinking plenty of water. If he shows signs of discomfort like pushing his belly to the floor (pushups) or shifting a lot, then you can try doing belly massages and simethicone.

What if he is not eating that much hay, what should I do?

Does he like dried herbs or willow leaves? You could sptinkle then on top to entice.

I don’t have those, I found some normal poops in his cage and one very tiny one, is it something to concern about?

He has a few smaller poops, but only about 3. Or two, right now he is pooping like a mad man, haha

Small poops just mean things slowed down. It isn’t anything to worry about unless it continues. It sounds like he’s pooping more now, so that’s good.
