Hi! So I have a very lazy rabbit that loves her food. When I let her out of the cage she just expends the hours chilling on the floor, and only excercices when I show her food. This worries me because I don’t want her to gain weight (in fact, I’m trying to make her loose some grams cause I’m planning on spaying her). She’s currently 1,300-ish kg (maybe some cg more), and as she is a netherland dwarf, I think she might be a little overweight. Anyway, I’m gonna show you some pictures of her to see what you think (gotta say that she doesn’t have a very dense or thick coat, so what you see is her bodytype).

First of all: I love her color! She’s soo pretty!

Secondly, I think she looks fine. If you can immediately feel her ribs when touching her, she should be of the correct weight.

I have seen those photos, she is not overweight and for a Netherland dwarf that weight is ok. Maintain a proper diet for her, she won’t gain much weight if you let her exercise properly.

What an adorable little girl! She looks pretty healthy to me, not overweight at all
Chilling is a lot of what a bunny does
