        Hi everybody!
I adopted my four month of Netherlands dwarf around a week ago. At first, he nipped and lunged at me when I tried to pet him, but that behaviour had decreased. Now, I’m trying to get him used to my hand and helping him realize that it’s a “good thing”. I’m trying to hand feed him some of his pellets (while still offering some in the bowl), but everytime I put my hand down, he runs excitedly towards it and starts to eat. However, when he’s done the pellets in my hand and I move my hand away, he will lunge and bite at it. How would I stop this aggression? I don’t think the behaviour is hormonal, as he’s neutered. But then again, he’s pretty young. Would this be a dominance problem?
        Thanks!

How long since the neuter? It can take buns several weeks for their hormones to settle after a neuter. Lunging and biting is a territorial behavior. Some bunnies remain territorial after being altered but most will calm down at least somewhat.
