Hey everyone.  So I’ve had our baby bunny (3.5 months old) for over 2 months now.  She is the sweetest little thing but she literally pees and poops EVERYWHERE except the litterbox.  I’ve attempted moving the litterbox to different corners and it doesn’t seem to matter.  I keep her hay rack and water bottle right above the litterbox but thats not working.  As you can see from the picture, all the pee and most of the poop is on this side of the cage.  Any suggestions on what I should do?  Different box?  Different litter?  Thanks!

When in doubt, bigger box. In fact, I would say there is no such thing as a litter box that is too big. Mine is actually an under bed storage tote and was for three rabbits in this pic, so it’s extreme, but it is both large and deep, keeps things quite tidy. You can also feed them in a larger box, and since rabbits like to eat and excrete at the same time, it helps. Extra large bunny included for scale.

Those corner litter boxes really are not big enough for a rabbit, unless it is a dwarf rabbit, so I agree that getting a larger box might help.

The biggest problem is probably the fact that your rabbit is young and has not been spayed yet. It is often difficult to be entirely successful with litter box training a rabbit that hasn’t been spayed or neutered.

I LOVE that the pup is just chilling with the buns!!! I have a terrier pup almost 3yr old but him and my bun have only met seeing each other threw the 44in tall pet gate..LOL.. Hopefully 1 day this will be my situation   Any tips or tricks on the dog and bun getting along?? Ive had my bun for only 3mos now.. I know they may never be “buds” but my pup is very well behaved cause he knows something is in the room but he never tries to barge in or jump on gate and if I leave the door open he just lays outside of door ..
