Hey all! I haven’t completely forgotten about this place!

Odysseus is doing so well! He is a happy little derp, and he is a bit of a butt now that it is warmer weather and the house is over 75degrees F… never over 80, for his comfort and my Cav who I have recently found out is in heart failure- the main reason I haven’t been around.

Right now though I am trying to harness train Ody… does anyone have any tips? I would love to get him out for fresh air on a day that isn’t too hot. My last Bun was uber easy to train, just got it on him and out he went lol My little Odysseus is a bit more Stubborn

My best advice is for you to not use a harness at all. They can be really dangerous. If bunny spooks, he can do a lot of damage even break his back. It’s a much better idea to get an X-pen for supervised outside time.

Oh! That is really good to know! I know my last bun LOVED his outside time and a leash. I am so afraid of a hawk coming down and swooping him up… I doubt a little puppy leash would do much to stop that though I have a kennel off the back of the house but I had to treat it this year for fleas so I wanted to take Odysseus out in the safe side or front yard and exi pen it is then!
