        Hi again everyone,

As stated in my previous thread I sent Little Thumper for his neutering last Monday.  Anyway, he was alright and I gave him the painkiller with anti-inflammation medication for 2 days after the surgery.

        So since yesterday, I noticed a greenish-like tint. Here’s a photo:

I tried calling the Vet and the receptionist said it is “normal”. I checked online too and most sites say it is ‘normal’. However, is it really normal? I am a bit concerned about this.

Little Thumper’s behaviour is the same so far. No signs of poor health or whatsoever. Still struggles and thumps around the cage.

A greenish-blueish tint is most likely a hematoma, ie like a black eye or when you hit your knee or sth and get a blue/green mark that turns yellow after a while. That really is normal.

Things to look out for is marked redness and increased warmth, undue swelling, seepage, foul smell – and of course the usual suspects, inappetance, lethargy, teeth-chopping.

Phew, I’m so relieved to hear that. Thank you very much, Bam!

            Thump Thump and away!

              Thump thump =)

Is he getting play-time yet? If it was done last Monday he should be ready for play-time on a flat surface by now. Could make him less thumpy and grumpy.
