Basically, Cotton just does not seem himself.

He has eaten within the last 12 hours and I watched him poop (quite a bit, but not irregularly) in the last 10 minutes. When he was out hopping about, Cotton did his usual thing, but seemed less energetic about it. Cotton recently drank and has peed today as well. Cotton however will not touch his broccoli or strawberries which are his favorite. However when he was out he tried to eat a paper towel. He just seems off. Cotton does not feel like he is cold or has a fever, there is no drooling, no unusual deficafion, etc. He might be breathing slightly rapidly but I might be imagining that at this point. When he lays down he lays stretched out. I might be overreacting but he’s my only companion these days. Any advice??

How’s the temperature? Any chance he could be too warm?

You could try some simethicone (infant gas drops) and a tummy massage in case he’s slightly gassy.

Also, is he moulting? Sometimes that can make buns out of sorts. If so, make sure he’s eating lots of hay to prevent blockages.

Eating, drinking, pooping are great, so if he keeps those up, he may just be having a boo kind of day.
