        Hey Everyone,

I’m worried sick about my bunny at the moment. I have included a link to a you tube vid with what seems to be her snoring. I have had her for a week no discharge and nose is dry. Eating and drinking. Sneezes couple times a day and also seems to grunt while eating or cleaning herself. Can’t go to the vet til Monday. Should I be worried or is this just normal sounds?

I can’t hear anything on the video, but that could be my PC. So cute bunnies!
Some buns can make a litle grunting noise when they eat or groom themselves. They can also sneeze from dusty hay, that’s common. Sometimes you get a dustier batch of hay or one that’s extra dusty at the bottom of the bag. When I’m about to finish a bag of hay, I try to remove the dust and crumbs and save it in a separate bag or glass-jar because it great for baking yummy hay-cakes with. Can you hear anything from her lungs? Is she active and running around during playtime? Is she grooming her self excessively (could be a sign of mites)?

Some bunnies are more vocal than others, some will never say anything at all.

Thanks so much for the reply ? Have only had her a week so not certain as to what’s normal but I think so. The other bunny seems fine no sounds from her or sneezing and they are prob acting the same. She just now had a lot to eat, a lot of Hay and water. I also have the humidifier on in case she is congested to try help clear it. It’s hard to tell if there is any sounds coming from her lungs because when I’m near her she wakes up and the noise stops. Oh just can’t stop thinking about it. If it was snuffles for example how long would it take to get really bad?

Aww. Yep, that’s snoring. She sounds like a pigeon cooing.
My lop snores like this sometimes too.

My lop snores. I think lops are like pugs, in that they tend to snore more because of those squishy faces.

                    Your buns are cuties!
