Ive been noticing my other rabbit, Rosie is not eating that much anymore like whenever I feed them veggies she will not really care about it which is unusual because she usually will start eating, But what got me even worried is when I try to give her a carrot (as a treat this week) she wont eat it when she would always go crazy for it. she just took a few nibbles and thats it, i also tried giving her pellets but she also didn’t care. Im reaaaally worried it might be GI stasis i really hope not because she is a lionhead and im afraid she might have too much hair in her stomach or something because she wont really let me groom her everytime i try she would always freak out and run away i tried everything but she just wont let me groom her. And yes i do give them fresh hay everyday and all. Im currently trying to find a vet, but the closest exotic vet is an hour away and no one would be able to drive because my parents are at work. Please someone help me what should I do while i cant take her to the vet yet? im really scared.

It does sound like she will need a vet. Is she pooping? Can you get baby gas drops (simethicone)? That often helps a bun that has tummy trouble. Is she acting normally? Like grooming herself, will she come for pets or does she sit hunched up and out of sight?
You can give a bunny a very light tummy-massage to help the gut work properly. If she could sit in your lap while you massage her, that’d be really good because then she’ll be warmed up by your body-heat -poorly buns often get cold and that makes matters worse.
I think you need to get her to a vet since this has been going on for a while, and that is typical of a bunny who needs medicines to start up the gut again. A vet can also give sub q fluids and check her teeth to see if she has a teeth problem that makes her not want to eat.

Do you have a feeding syringe (no needles involved)? Sometimes you can buy them from stores like walmart in the medicine area since they can be used to also give liquids to babies and small kids. After you have a few of these, youll need to make a mash. Take some pellets and add some water to them, let it sit for a few minutes, then mash it together until it makes a liquidy paste. Fill the feeding syringe with it and put it under your bunnies lip. Squirt a drop or two into her mouth then remove the syringe from her lip. If she licks her lips, do it again. If she does not, she really has to see a vet as that means she doeant even want to swallow it. Either way, she would have to see a vet to make sure she is doing well, the syringe feeding is only there to hld you for a few days until you can get her to the vet

I haven’t been noticing anything with her poop they just look normal. And the thing that makes it hard for me to help her is she wont let me really pick her up or anything she is very skittish i will try to feed her with a syringe hopefully she will it. We are contacting a vet right now and hopefully we can get her there as soon as possible.
