  So it has been a few weeks. We miss Speckles with all our hearts, but slowly we are healing. Today I went and got a tattoo done for her. The artist did great, and honestly it helped me a lot with my self blame, and helping me move on, in a way I didn’t think I could. I’m finally on the path to forgiving myself, and realizing that it was all just a horrible accident. The file is too big to upload, so here is a link to the pic of my new tattoo.

  its very beautiful, i wish i could get a tattoo im think of but i got a fear of needles

  @Jessica I’m petrified of needles actually. But a tattoo is different. It feels different, and even sitting in the chair to get it done, I don’t fear it, I’m eager for it. It’s nothing at all like a shot, more like a cat repeatedly scratching at your skin. Hurts for five minutes, then your skin goes numb.
  Thank you. As of yesterday, she has been gone officially a month. She’s left a giant hole in our hearts.
