        Hi

Im having a little freak out. Nowhere in Perth is stocking or selling american pet diner hay anymore. So I bought some burgess excel hay and she hasnt touched it yet. The pet diner hay is so green and nice the burgess is really yellow and shiny. Do you think she’ll get used to it?? Does your rabbit eat burgess?? I might have to try oxbow again but last time theirs was rrally yellow and she wasnt fond of that either. Im so scared she will stop eating hay.

          Hi Naomi
Can I just clarify, are you in Perth, Western Aust. or Perth, ON?
Is it timothy hay you are feeding her? Perhaps one brand was a different cut of hay. Does it say on the packaging? 3rd cut hay is a lot softer and leafy.
Sometimes with new hay, rabbits will snub it but if you keep offering it, they eventually come around to eating it.

Oh that’s a relief. You might like to introduce her to oaten hay at some point also. As that’s readily available. All my guys eat oaten hay.
