Hello! I am Erin and was given a baby bunny that was neglected about 10+ years ago. He was perfect in every sense (As I am sure everyone’s is haha) and I was very attached to him. His name was Mason and looking back at pictures, I don’t know what breed he was! I was wondering if anyone knew and could help me identify my current 2, as well. Mason was all black with a white nose. So I’d like to introduce you to my little family!

Buster is the “cinnamon” colored one with darker tips. Hes 3 and was abandoned and given to me as a Secret Santa gift when my coworkers saw how distraught I was after Mason passed.

Ringo is the “Harlequin-ish” looking bun that started out a tiny lip lop and ended up being pretty large! I was thinking maybe a harlequin mini lop of some sort? No idea! Any insight would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance! Its been lovely looking at pictures of other families!

Oh they are all so gorgeous.

Mason was adorable. It’s so hard when you lose them but they give you so much joy.

I don’t have much knowledge about the different breeds but Mason looks a bit like a Netherland Dwarf. He’s also quite similar to my Dutch bunny Brabham, who is quite tiny for the breed.

              Welcome Erin!

              What a cute bunny family.

I agree with the others, I think Mason was a netherland dwarf also. That head shape and round eyes just looks very Nethie. Probably a “false dwarf” (got a non-dwarf gene from each parent) as his ears are a bit bigger then standard. False dwarfs can be around 3-4lbs.

I think you’re right about Ringo being a Mini Lop. What is his age and weight? (American) Mini lops are around 4-5lbs.
Hard to say about Buster though. His body shape and ears look like he could be a possible lop mix though.

Yeah after looking at more pictures of Netherland Dwarf, it seems like he definitely was! Thanks for the reply

                    Thank you!

Ringo is an old man now at 8years old and just over at 6lbs. He is the calmest and shyest rabbit out of them. I just really love his colors and couldn’t find many besides Harlequins with such marbling. I was wondering if I missed something lol

Buster came to me as a baby with mites in both ears. He also grew very large from when I first got him and is very solid. A woman I am friends with has one that looks to be his twin but she couldn’t figure it out either!

I probably just have a bunch of mutts but so I am haha and of course love them I was just curious so thank you for replying! I appreciate it
