HELP! Aggressive female

I’ve been trying to bond my fixed male and female in a neutral territory for about a week now. I recently posted in the forum but haven’t gotten any responses. This is my first time bonding and I’m curious as to what I should do next. Lately all that happens is my male (Loki) stays away and barely moves. My female (Freya) eventually goes after him usually pulling some fur out. I use the spray bottle to break up fights but nothing gives!! Maybe with more time she will calm down?

Nope, separate them. Pulling fur can be dangerous to rabbits have they have very thin skin. Pulling fur can lead to scabbing, or even skin ripping. Youll want to keep them completely separate for atleast two months. Different cages and different rooms. Wash your hands before and after playing with either of them so they dont smell the other as much. During that time they will hopefully for get about one another

After those two months, put their cages next to each other. Let them out at different times to run around, but dont let them out together. Use this set up for atleast a month

After that month, speed bond in a neutral area. One at a time take them to a neutral room. Pet them for two to five minutes, then pick them back up and put them back into their cages. Do this several times a day for no more than a few minutes at a time. Pet them through it every time. Do this for a week or longer

Then move to a longer bonding period in the same room. Keep them in there for 10 minutes. Then 20. Then 30. And so on. Pet them when they seem stressed, stop fights as soon as they start, and remove mounting after about 10 seconds. After they can do this with little to no scuffling for more than two hours, move onto the next step

When theyre ok being together for that long in a neutral room, move to a room or pen they will be sharing. Start with the two to five minute pet sessions again. When theyre ok with the short session, slowly make them longer. When they are ok with that, move to the cage they will be sharing, if they will be sharing one, using the same method

Dont be afraid to go back a step if you are worried about breaking their bond. If they scuffle too much or cant settle down around one another, go back to the very first step. If you try that and it still doesnt work, they might just not like one another. Just like with humans, not every bunny will like the other bunnies they meet
