While checking up on peppers ears this week, I noticed a huge clump of something. Thinking it could’ve been earwax, I tried to pick it out, and it’s started bleeding. Im not sure what it is and im worried

It looks like a sore. Do you have more rabbits so she could’ve got bit? Has she had vaccination against myxo/RVH? (My Bam got sores similar to that in his ears as a reaction to one of those vaccines.)

Bleeding is good because it rinses out bacteria + help tissues to heal, Is the huge lump still there or did it come off? A huge lump can be an abscess (cavity filled with pus). That’d need to be cleaned out by a vet and treated with antibiotics. It can sometimes happen if the bunny has had even the smallest scratch. Bunny pus is very thick and pasty, not like human pus.
