        Hi everyone!

So recently i noticed a weird spot behind my bunnys ears with missing hair and only skin. It might have been like this for long, but i only just discovered it. I do not think it is mites, as there is no dandruff, but then again i cant see any other reason.

Is this something i need to bring to the vet? (I guess its better to be safe so i probably will but i would like to know if anyone have a faint idea about what it might be)
Notice the very short fur too, is that fur growing back?? (it is just behind the head where i have found missing fur)

It’s really impossible to say. Some mites are much too small to see without a microscope. The vet would have to do a skin scraping. If it’s mites, your vet can prescribe Revolution.

Shedding sometimes can cause bald spots, however.

Okay. I will consult the vet about it. He should have a checkup there anyway to see if he is doing great Thanks!

Haha reminds me when my bunny was shedding.. Brushing doesn’t quite do it so i just pull his loose hair out with my hand and i literally pulled a tiny part of his head and gave him a bald spot xD it looked really funny and he seemed upset I did that to him haha he was totally fine and still is though :p
