So real quick, I’m going to be moving two states away next weekend for school. Naturally, my two rabbits are coming with me. But I’m worried how they will handle the ride. I will be traveling by car and it’s about ten hours. I’ve got a comfortable little carrier that they will be in and I’ll keep the AC on so they don’t get too hot. But what are some tips to making a car ride easier for the rabbits? The younger one, March, isn’t too bothered by car rides, but the older one, Treasure, had never been in a car before and she’s already a very skittish bunny.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Youll have to stop every 1 to 2 hours (3 hours absolute max) for atleast ten minutes each. During this little break, pet them, water them, and make sure they are eating. Bring treats along as a bribe to get them to eat. Treats will also help them feel less stressed. If you notice anything out of the normal/not eating/not drinking/not peeing/not pooping/ect at all during the drive and breaks, set up a vet appointment asap near your destination. Good luck with your move
