Today I boarded Blue at the HRS (vaca tomorrow) and I miss him so much, the empty cage depresses me and I WANT MY BABY BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please give me some advice, I miss him so much and feel so empty.

I am watching Sailor Moon, which Blue loves so that makes me feel guilty as well. I want him back, and I don’t care that I am leaving tomorrow.

It can be really hard to leave our beloved pets. I’m sorry you’re having a hard time and missing your friend. Just know that he is safe and this is only temporary. Try to enjoy your vacation as much as you can knowing Blue will be well taken care of while you are away. I’m sure the time will just fly by once you let it. Rabbits are extremely adaptive creatures. I bet he will be delighted to see you as soon as you are back. It will be a good excuse to pamper him and show him how much you love him.

I totally second pinknwuffy, but I do sympathize with you. It’s just not as fun without you bun

But it is great to have somebody you love to come home to.

Aww… I know how hard it can be. I’ve done it once last Christmas and thought my heart would break, but coming home after two weeks and seeing his eager little furry face when the pet hotel dropped him off was amazing.

Although I just booked another stay (this time three weeks ) for June’s visit to see the fam. Boo to Star Trek for not having transporter rooms in every household!

Does your HRS send phone or email updates on request? I know some places do (or can for a small extra fee) and it’s just so comforting to get a Whatsapp photo of your happy bun sitting in his potty or whatever.
