Hi everyone, this is my first time posting on this forum! Excited to finally post 🙂

So my rabbit Stewie is about 10 months old and within the last 2 months it seems like he’s been pooping more and more outside his litter bin and the amount of droppings seem to be doubled. He is not caged but he stays in my room and sometimes when I return home my once clean floor seems covered in his droppings.

He is not neutered yet and I’m wondering if this will help the situation?

        Thank you!

           Welcome to Binky Bunny!

Neutering should definitely help with the situation. People will have a lot more success getting their rabbits to use the litter box, if they have been spayed or neutered. A few stray poops are normal even if a rabbit has been spayed or neutered, but the excessive pooping outside the litter box will hopefully be eliminated by the surgery, after a few weeks have passed to get the hormones flushed out.
