OK some spiders are nasty in the UK, they bite, I have just been into my bathroom and found one of these spiders that could bite, does anyone know how I can get it out of the bathroom because I would hate it to go into the towels and bite the carer or I get bitten again or maybe it escapes and nips Olly.

        Thank you.

I never like killing spiders, but if you need it gone you could either spray it with some sort of bug killer or spray with bleach in it. If you’re really brave and want it to live, but just get out of your house you can trap it under a cup or bowl and work a piece of paper or cardboard under it to trap it, and then just put (throw) it outside.

Other killing options include vacuuming and the classic stomp.

I have saved a lot of bugs in my life and the cup trap is the best – use a clear one so you can see the paper working its way under.

That being said, all roaches must die. Good luck!

We always use a cup and piece of lightweight cardboard.

I always try to get bugs out of my flat with a girlie shriek and a precipitated strategic retreat.
That being said, I’m allergic to spider bites just as badly as some people are to peanuts. So I vote for the vacuum method.

Sadly the vacuum cleaner method it was, can’t wait till my friend comes over on Monday, he can empty the vacuum cleaner, I’m so Arachnophobic that if a spider is caught in a cup or glass I can’t go near that cup or glass for days, even if someone says. “You can see that the spider is not in the glass.” Even though I see that, my minds telling me Mr. Or Mrs. Eight Legs is still in there, but after its been washed I’m fine, but I have to see it being washed, yes spider bites are nasty Q8bunny I’m allergic to them too, Olly had one in his cage once, think he’s scared of them too, they are a lot bigger to a bunny, oh he stamped his foot at it and sort of pointed to it with his nose, stamped again, I managed to carry his blanket outside and shake it, Olly was fine after that.

You and Olly are braver than me, Pinky.
