My bunnies were spayed and neutered about a month ago. I’ve read online that I could start bonding them now, but my male bunny still humps the female.  Should I wait and try again later, or is this normal behavior that will just happen regardless?

Pretty normal. Bunnies will mount, nip, lunging, and chase to prove dominance. Mounting is ok as long as it stops within a few seconds. If it doesnt stop within a few seconds, take the top bunny off and pet them both. Nips are ok as long as they are soft nips, as well as being far and few in between. Lunging is not ok; scoot the buns away from eachother, but still within eye sight, and pet them for a few minutes. Chasing is not ok, water bottle squirt might help. And of course, if you see any fur pulling, separate them with a dust pan or something similar and pet them for a few minutes before putting them into their own separate cages

Good luck with your bonding If all thats really going on between them is mounting, it sounds like they might be bonded fairly quickly (month or two, ish)

Thanks so much for all the info! The reason I worry is because he mounts her face (I should have specified).

When he does that, just pick him off and pet them both. If she gets mad, she can bite and thatll cause more damage than good. But if he mounts her backside, thats not completely a bad thing
