Ok. So sorry for another worrisome post but my rabbit is now eating the paper packing tape off of his cardboard box. It is an oxbow box with some sort of brown paper tape with white string of some kind going through it the whole Length. He likes the tape more than the box, and he likes the tape a little more than his hay I think, though he ate his hay when I stuffed it between him and the tape. Is it okay for him to eat that tape?

Don’t let him eat the tape, especially if it has string it it. Both string and tape can cause blockages and have trouble passing through the gut, if he hasn’t eaten too much it should pass with no trouble, but keep an eye.

I always remove all tape from any boxes before offering them to a bunny, if you want to hold the tops of the boxes up you can fold the flaps in together so that they support themselves.
