So my little bun bun Clary, has started biting…. I can’t seem to find a reason, because it will be when I am asleep, like last night when she bit the top of my foot in my sleep, and my boyfriends arm last night when him and I were sitting together.  This isn’t the first time she has done it, but I can’t find a reason.  I know rabbits will bite out of fear, but I’m not doing anything, shes bit me while sitting still.  She has lots of things to chew on, however she prefers to eat my paper instead of the things I give her.  I’m just wondering if there is something that is going on, or if something happened.

Also this was very sudden onset, I have had her for like 6 months, and she didn’t start doing this till about 2 weeks ago.

She could be mad or jealous, curious if youre food, or possibly giving you literal love bites. Is she spayed? You can also try to jot down a little note in a journal about what you were doing when she bit you. Maybe you can find a pattern that way

I can try that, she is spayed, and fully healed from the operation. I do think that she could be jealous/lonely because I have been extra busy lately so she has had more alone time. After I get a good finacial situation I am going to be looking for a partner for her.

I think it could be to gain your attention also. My single bunny does this sometimes, when he’s in a particularly active mode, and I’m not! He’s either wanting to be pet or wants food. Well, at least, these things usually are enough to distract him anyway.
