So my little male bun has been acting very strange lately. Generally, quick silver will jump out of his cage the second his door opens. About 2 weeks ago, he came out and peed on the carpet, which he never does. Since then, when his door is opened, he just sits in his potty box (which he uses as a sleeping box now). Even when we try to coax him out with treats, he will take the treat then go back in his cage. Weve tried giving him alone time, not letting his brother come out with him, etc. Even when i pulled him out and petted him for a bit, he went right back in his cage and just cleaned himself for like 10 minutes straight.

Im not sure if something is botherng him or if its a sign of being sick or maybe he just doesnt care to come out and run around anymore.

Sorry, I have to ask the standard questions here: How old is he and is he neutered?

Okay, that eliminates some possibilities then. Has he been eating and pooping okay? Did anything else change in his environment? Sometimes even seemingly minor changes can cause upset. Did you leave or take a vacation recently?

He hasnt been eating a whole lot (comparing to his brother) but he never really ate a lot. Lots of poops though. The only change i could think of is my work schedule, but i was only a 30 minute change so if shouldnt upset him too much
