Becky I will be getting 2 lop eared lion heads on April 20th. They will be 6 weeks then. The owners only feeds them pellets. How would I get them to eat hay? Everywhere I look it says that hay is extremely important for them. I know bunnies can be very stubborn. What do I do? Please help!!!

You just offer them hay and they will want to try it because they are young and want to try everything new. You are very right about hay being immensely important for bunnies!
6 weeks is very young, it really would be better for them if they could stay with their mum for an additional 2 weeks. They need to develop a good and sturdy microbial flora in their tummies and they do that best by being with an adult bun.

Thank you for the info. But the person I’m getting them from is really wanting to have them adopted out right away.
