        I gave in. He kept urinating outside his litter box in his cage and so I let him be free and I’ve had no issues. I put a ton of blankets under the bed and some under the couch, because that’s where he likes to lounge and chew the carpet. Although now at night I hear him running full speed into the closet doors and jumping in and out of his cage over and over; it’s cute but I bet the neighbors are confused.

                I agree. The day I dismantled Chewie’s playpen was the last day he had an “accident”.
