          Hi there
What are you feeding him? Is it a syringe feed formula like Critical Care?

If you are feeding critical care, the daily amount is 3 table spoons dry matter mixed with water per kilo bunny weight. This amount should be divided into 4 or 5 separate feelings spread out over 24 hours. This is for a bun that’s not eating anything else. How big volume you get depends on how thick CC mix you use.
How much does your bun weigh? (Approximately)

I’m feeding him liquidised veg and herbs with water and a drop of pineapple juice as advised by my vet. He will only take it from a 2.5ml syringe. He weights around 2.3kilos xx

If he won’t eat in his own, you’ll need to add more fibre to the feed. Something like Fibreplex for Rabbits or Protexin Pro Fibre pellets that have been ground down. If you have a coffee grinder or spice mill, you can try grind down some hay. Use the fine stuff that falls to bottom of the bag or bale.

With feedings, it’s normally recommended to break it up into small feedings like Bam said. If you find he won’t take much at one time, just do more small feedings throughout the day.
This info may be useful for you.

You really should try and add some fiber to the mix as Jersey says. You can use whatever brand of pellets you normally use (fibreplex and Profibre are not available in the USA).
I think 2-3 syringes per meal would be good. 5 meals per day.
Is your bun eating anything at all by himself?

When he is better can I suggest you let him play and run for a while, it helps the bunny’s tummy so he can use his litter tray, we get a blocked tummy if we don’t walk about or have been in bed a while after being ill

I am so sorry for your loss. One day you’ll see him again (in Heaven) and you’ll never have to worry about losing him again.
