Is anybody here a Harry Potter fan? Because I am a SERIOUS Potterhead! I am literally obsessed with Harry Potter, I almost have the books memorized… It is my absolute favourite book series!

Or maybe Septimus Heap or Artemis Fowl fans? Because I love those series too!

Omg, yes… Especially since I just named my new lionhead Moony, after Remus Lupin. I’m in the process of reading all the books over again and currently on the 4th one!

            Aww, that’s adorable!

Haha, I’ve read and reread the Harry Potter books a LOT. They’re addicting! The 4th one is actually my favourite one… Which one’s your favourite?

Huge Potterhead here… I figured about Moony, but didn’t want to be a dork and say something. lol

I reread the HP series every single year in August (I started since I got my first edition of Philosopher’s Stone).

Favourite book is Goblet of Fire. Favourite movie and Prisoner of Azkaban.

A little part of me died when Dumbledore fell.

                Heheh, now we know!

Favorite book is also Goblet of Fire! Favorite movie is actually Chamber of Secrets… From there, I think the rest of the movies just can’t quite match up with teh books, since they have to cut out a lot.

I almost cried when Dumbledore died. :s I DID cry as a 12 year old after reading Snape’s reveal as a double agent on Harry’s side the whole time.

I was never able to like Snape, even after the reveal. My brother and I argue about it all the time. LOL
I just think that all things considered, his treatment of Harry (or rather, the magnitude of his nastiness) stemmed more from his hatred of James and projected resentment of Jame’s son, than from a desire to misdirect and cloak his double agent status (i.e., protect Harry).

Oh yeah, definitely his treatment of Harry stemmed from his hatred of James, and projecting James onto Harry. I don’t think that’s part of the double agent status at all. But… I can understand him, because James and his crew were huge pricks toward Severus LOL.

I was touched by his obsessive love for Lily. That at the last moment before his death, he had Harry look into his eyes. Because only Harry’s eyes look like Lily’s. ;_; His whole story with Dumbledore and Lily is what got me, and his willingless to protect Harry despite his hate of James/Harry looking like James, because his love for Lily, at the root, is stronger than his hatred of James.

You guys are serious Potterheads! I only love the films in a strictly amateur way. I was very upset when Dumbledore fell. I’m still a bit upset at that, really. Gandalf fell too but he had the sense to get up again.

Oh my god yes! Harry Potter!! Ahhh! I’ve read all the books (more than once). I’m also a HUGE Mortal Instruments fan. That’s a young adult book series by Cassandra Clare.

It seems as though the fourth book is pretty popular!  But then again, who doesn’t love the Triwizard tournament, and when Lord Voldemort rose once more!

I don’t really have a favourite movie, as I prefer to read the books. I agree with Fiona, they cut out too many good parts.

I pretty much cried throughout the entire 7th book when I first read it. Too many sad deaths. MOODY, HEDWIG, DOBBY, FRED, LUPIN! COME BACK! Yes, when Snape reveals the truth, I did cry.

And when Sirius dies in the fifth book… arghhhh. Save me! I’m drowning in my own tears!

Dumbledore’s death was also really bad, but the saddest was when Harry met him again and Dumbledore told him the truth about everything.

I think Snape is okay. I hate him and love him at the same time, lol.

Bam! LOL Agreed though. You’d think Dumbledore would have a pointy hat trick up his sleeve like Gandalf… sheesh.

I was a fan and read them all as soon as they came out. They weren’t meant for me really – I was in my 40s.
And I loved Snape all the way through. I just didn’t buy the whole bad guy image. Even after Dumbledore, I suspected he wasn,t what he seemed. I was mad and vindicated at his final sacrifice and loved Harry,s son,s name. I am a fan of Alan Rickman before the series, so really enjoyed his portrayal. (Did you know Rickman was a natural blonde?)

I still haven,t gotten to Universal Studios, but my brother got me a wand there.

Oh good, I’m glad I’m not the only grown woman with a wand in this hemisphere. LOL

Oh!! I REALLY want to go to Universal Studios!! I painted myself a wand using the handle of a paintbrush, hehe…

Omg…. I live very close to Universal Studios in California, and I am going there ASAP for the Harry Potter world after the first few weekends… or I am sure the HP section would be basically so packed that you can’t even walk. @__@ Probably like Disneyland on a Saturday night.

                                        Oh yes… wands… http://www.harrypottershop.com/category/wands+%26+collectibles+hpshopcollect_hpshop.do?nType=1
