        Hello everybody,

My partner and I have two house rabbits, one 18 month old buck who is very independent (lived on his own for 6 months with just me to play with on a daily basis, I was naive and didn’t realise they needed to be kept in pairs!) and a 1 year old doe who has the biggest character I’ve ever known from an animal, she was born with an insatiable desire to love and be loved!

I would quite like to rehome a cat or kitten (probably kitten for teaching reasons) and wanted advice from knowledgeable folk! What do you think? I’ve read about introducing cats to rabbits and how to keep them separate, don’t leave them alone together etc.

        Thanks

        Sam

I think it’s a good idea !! LOL – the more the merrier. If a small kitten, beware rabbit may be bigger and frighten kitten off. If a grown cat (maybe already used to other animals in a house), then beware of cat’s claws – so yes, supervision will be needed at first…. but you’ll probably be able to tell re the body language of all concerned.
