I was at the pet store today to buy a bigger litter box for my baby buns because they outgrew the old one and I noticed they like to eat hay together so I wanted to buy litter box that can fit both of them in comfortably. I went and got a big cat litter box and set it up for them. They seem to like this big one a lot better than the two kitten litter box I had for them. Anyways, I digress. I wanted to ask if yogurt bite treats are okay to feed rabbits? I couldn’t help myself but buy the yogurt treats so I can give them some sweets as treats and to further bond with them. I read somewhere a way to a rabbits heart is through their stomach  I didn’t feed them the yogurt bites yet. I just wanted to make sure they are safe……..

Not so great, from what I know.
If they love sweets, you’re better off with Craisins or fresh fruit.

Aww man. I guess I’ll go back tomorrow and return it. What kind of fruits do bunnies like? Is it okay to feed 3-4 month old bunnies fruits?…

Babies need to be introduced to fresh fruit and veg veeery gradually (tiny quantity, wait a few days to see reaction).
But some popular ones are the dried cranberries I already mentioned, banana, apple, grape, pear, kiwi, watermelon, berries, peach, pineapple, papaya, mango… Pretty much anything fresh and yummy just in tiny portions.

ohh okay. I will go buy those stuff at a organic marketplace then!
Would love to start introducing them to some nice healthy treats. I will keep in mind to give them tiny portions
Thank you so much for the advice.

Yogurt bites aren’t going to kill them, but the a pretty unhealthy. Bunny digestive systems are not equipped to handle dairy. I agree with the suggestions above. Also, dehydrated banana chips are a favorite among bunnies. Oxbow makes them as treats for small animals, but you can by the “people kind” as long as nothing has been added to them.

I finally got my order of banana/strawberry oxbow treats from binkybunny store just today! I fed them a lil piece of it and they seemed to like it.
I didn’t want to give a full piece because I wasn’t sure how well they’d handle it, so I gave them half a piece. Now they follow me around thinking I’d give them treats hahaha

My buns love those two. They are actually crazy about any Oxbow treats/cookies.

I gave them a lil more yesterday, but I think even though the liked it, their digestive system wasn’t ready for a bigger piece. Their poops got a lil moist and mushy. So I’m going to give them half a treat to a full treat for a week or so before I start giving them any more.
