Ok so I saw on rabbit.org that orange peels are ok for bunnies:

        http://rabbit.org/what-to-feed-your-rabbit/

But then on here you say no peel!

        Which is correct?

My bun are about a 1/2 inch piece of a clementine peel. Should I be worried???

Orange peel is usually safe, my rabbits don’t like it, so they don’t eat it, but it is normally safe. I wouldn’t be concerned. I wouldn’t feed it all the time, but I doubt it would hurt your bun.

I wouldn’t think they would like it.

Thanks Guinea Pig. Your response relaxed me.

He seemed to love it LBJ. Which is weird because he doesn’t like anything except greens and hay. And his Timothy treats. He’s a healthy bun. I’ve found others online that gave said the same thing.

I’m worried that there is so much conflicting info online. I’ll keep it away from him in the future. Better be safe than sorry.

From what I’ve heard orange peel is good unless there’s lots of pesticides on it. But as you’re saying, better safe than sorry. I do agree there’s very often conflicting info on the Internet about what a bunny can eat or not.
