Day 2 having my new 8 week old mini Rex . so far she does not like being held. Expected that…and during floorplay will run away ssometimes bblinkingin the process so playing? In her cage I reach in she flattens out laying her head flat down…ears flat. And a few times after I stop petting she iimmediately flops onto her side and curls up to nap. She doesn’t appear scared..seeing as she right away flops over lol…and once she flatted out ..sticking her front legs out straight in front of her laying flat on her belly Anyways just trying to get a read on her.

She seems content Binkying is a sign of joy and flopping can be seen as a sign of relaxation. Since shes still new, it might be a few days before she starts to feel very comfortable. Just make sure to be gentle, let her have her alone time once in a while, and take everything slow. Im sure she will turn out to be your newest best friend!

Awesome! Actually its my daughters rabbit, but we are all super excited to have a pet. And of course we have no experience with rabbits. But are eager to learn. Kids got home from school and went and visited with little bunny right away…bunny came out of cage and seemed to greet them, even licked my daughters arm. I came in room rabbit hopped up and put its front legs up on my leg so I’m guessing giving me a greet too.  She climbed on my sons back (he was laying belly down on the floor) and hung out for awhile on his back till she started digging and made him laugh and she hopped down and then sniffed around his hair so seems pretty at ease with us even though she wants nothing to do with being picked up and likes to run when we reach out to pet when she’s not in her cage, haha so far enjoying getting to know this little bunny I did discover she appears to love her cheeks rubbed (at least I think she does, she closes her eyes while I do it so I;m guessing its a bliss thing lol)

Aw cute! I didnt get to see the pictures before; she is adorable! She seems like a happy and calm bun if shes willing to climb on you guys and play around with you so early since yovue gotten her You should try giving her little shoulder massages. My mini rex loves his shoulders rubbed. He will sprawl out and end up falling asleep while chattering if you do it long enough lol

When my Theo wants head pets he flattens his head to the floor just like your little one does. My guess would be that her holding her head like that means ‘keep petting me mummy!’

                    She is a little cutie.

Oh, she is absolutely adorable! I think she loves being pet. She’s a happy little baby bun! Enjoy the floppiness and energy while you can – it starts degrading at about 6 months, I think. At least it did for my bunny…

I agree, happy friendly bunny who loves being pet! My Yohio always put his chin to the ground and his ears down back for pets.
